Byun won two individual events and both relays to help No. 13 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges to double-dual meet victories over California Lutheran University and the University of La Verne. Already holding the top 100-yard butterfly time in the conference, the senior won by over three seconds and claimed the 100 Back by nearly two seconds in addition to swimming the second leg on the 200 Free Relay and butterfly on the 200 Medley Relay.

Gillespie won the 1-meter diving competition for No. 7 Pomona-Pitzer Colleges at the University of Redlands with a score of 216.15 and was runner-up on the 3m board (138.90).
