Six SCIAC volleyball teams have earned the AVCA Team Academic Award sponsored by INTENT, with Pomona-Pitzer Colleges also making the Honor Roll.

California Lutheran University, Chapman University, the University of La Verne, Occidental College and the University of Redlands joined the Sagehens in maintaining a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale. The Sagehens ranked among the top 20 percent of Division III.

The CLU Kingsmen also made the men's list.
