CMS jumped out to a 3-1 lead through the first quarter but Pomona-Pitzer clawed back a goal in the second period and took the lead in the third, then sealed the victory in a level fourth. The Sagehens converted six of 13 extraman opportunities to the Athenas' 4-for-9 mark, including a pair of penalty scores on four attempts to the Athenas' 0-2 record.
