No. 11 University of Redlands concluded an historic season against a familiar foe in No. 6 Linfield College at the NCAA Division III Women's College World Series.

Linfield scratched out a go-ahead run in the top of the first inning due in part to an error and doubled the lead in the third before smashing four home runs to put the game out of reach. Redlands got one back in the bottom of the fifth to initially avoid a run-rule when Avery Provenzano drove in Adyson Kim.
