The top-seeded Occidental College Tigers advanced to the SCIAC Tournament final over the University of La Verne, 4-1, on Thursday night.

The visitors jumped onto the board first thanks to Israel Jimenez Ramirez in the 23rd minute, but Oxy equalized just four minutes later and nabbed what many sensed was an inevitable second just before halftime after posting a 15-5 shot advantage in the period. Tyler Na-Nakornpanom then bagged a brace with insurance tallies in the 69th and 75th minutes to seal the victory.

The Tigers will host second-seeded Redlands on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m.
