The top-seeded Pomona-Pitzer Colleges Sagehens advanced over the Whittier College Poets to qualify for the USA Water Polo National Championship and final of the 2025 SCIAC Men's Water Tournament.

The Poets gave an excellent account of themselves in a wild first half that ended with a tight 11-10 margin before the hosts managed to slow down and dictate the pace of play. Newcomer of the Year Jaden Winters led all players with six points while Indigo Lee tallied five goals.

The Sagehens will hosts CMS in the tournament final on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 11 a.m.
