CMS and Pomona-Pitzer Neck and Neck Through Fall All-Sports Update

Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges leads Pomona-Pitzer Colleges by the slimmest of margins in the 2024-25 All-Sports Standings fall update.

All-Sport Standings

The Athenas and Stags lead the Sagehens by a half-point (0.5), with the University of Redlands 10.5 points back in third place but topping the men's sport standings. Chapman University ranks fourth with 38 points, followed by California Lutheran University edging the University of La Verne, 32-30.5. Whittier College came out ahead of a tight final grouping with 21 points to Caltech's 20 and Occidental College's 19.

Women's cross country and volleyball titles fueled CMS's claim to the top spot over the Sagehens, who claimed three outright and shared another regular season title between men's cross country and water polo, football and women's soccer. Redlands topped the men's soccer standings and tied for the men's water polo regular season title. Chapman's highest finish came via football's Championship Game berth, while CLU women's soccer and ULV volleyball finished runner-up. Whittier volleyball tied for fourth, with Caltech men's cross country and Oxy men's soccer each placing third.
