Yu set a trio of meet records over two days at the D3 Shootout in Chicago, Ill. where Pomona-Pitzer Colleges tied for first place. The 2023 SCIAC Swimmer of the Year clocked a 1:48.56 in the 200-yard IM, a 3:55.43 in the 400 IM and a 2:01.29 in the 200 Breast to beat the previous mark by a single hundredth of a second. He also swam the anchor leg on the winning 800 Free Relay and was runner-up in the 100 Back, also coming in under the previous meet record.

Name: Conor Wherry
School: Redlands
Year: Fy.
Events: 3m/1m

Hometown / High School: Wherry claimed two victories to help the University of Redlands earn a 173-97 victory over the University of La Verne. He scored a 231.81 on the 1-meter board and a 198.55 on the 3m.
