Biggs won the 50- and 100-yard Freestyle events with the second-fastest times recorded in the SCIAC this season to lift Occidental College to a four-point edge over California Lutheran University for second place at the Caltech Invite. He was the only competitor to break 21.00 in the 50 Free, clocking a 20.81 to win by .23, and claimed the 100 Free by .12 in 46.26. He also placed third in the 100 Fly and anchored the runner-up 200 Medley Relay, as well as fourth-, fifth- and sixth-place finishes on other quartets.

Wherry emerged victorious by narrow margins on both the 1- and 3-meter boards, winning by a total of just 18.45 as he posted a 235.7 on the 3m and 263.65 on the 1m, also hitting the regional qualifying mark on his exhibition 11-dive list (444.25).
