Offensive Athlete of the Week

Name: Mandy Crawford
School: California Lutheran
Year: First-Year
Position: Forward
Hometown: Simi Valley, Calif.

Mandy Crawford helped California Lutheran to a 3-0 victory over La Verne in SCIAC play delivering a goal and an assist from her striker position. The first-year delivered a wonderful slipped pass into the box to set up the Regals' second goal of the game. The Simi Valley, Calif. native then sealed the three points with a beautiful bit of skill to round the keeper and slot her chance into the back of the net. 

Defensive Athlete of the Week

Name: Kelsey Bland
School: Chapman
Year: Sophomore
Position: Goalkeeper
Hometown: San Clemente, Calif.

Kelsey Bland helped Chapman pick up a pair of SCIAC shutouts with a 0-0 (2 OT) draw with Whittier, and a 1-0 victory over Occidental. Bland notched nine total saves, with five coming against the Tigers, in 200 minutes of action. She has not allowed a goal in three straight games and has now registered seven clean sheets in 2019.
