Pomona-Pitzer first-year midfielder Hannah Mandell helped the Sagehens to a 2-0-0 week in SCIAC play that featured a 3-0 win over Whittier, and a 5-1 victory over Redlands. The Frisco, Texas native collected a goal in the win over the Poets, finishing with three shots on goal before netting her first collegiate-career hat trick with three markers against the Bulldogs. Mandell totaled six points in the game and eight for the week.

Name: Karla Alas-Lopez
School: Occidental
Year: Senior
Position: Defender
Hometown: Reseda, Calif.

Karla Alas-Lopez helped Occidental to a pair of SCIAC victories including a 2-1 win over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) and a 5-0 win over Caltech. Alas-Lopez anchored a Tigers defense that has surrendered just two goals this season as Occidental improved to 2-0-1 in conference play.
