Offensive Athlete of the Week

Name: William Barton
School: Claremont-Mudd-Scripps
Year: Sophomore
Position: Forward
Hometown: Seattle, Wash.

William Barton helped CMS to a 2-1 double-overtime victory over Whittier (2-1) and a 4-0 win over Caltech to help seal the top seed in the upcoming SCIAC Postseason Tournament. Barton scored the game-winning goal in the second overtime against the Poets and assisted on the Stags' first goal of the contest. He also added the opening goal in the 4-0 win over Caltech. 

Defensive Athlete of the Week

Name: Peyton Menti
School: Redlands
Year: Sophomore
Position: Defender
Hometown: Seattle, Wash.

Redlands defender Peyton Menti helped the Bulldogs clinch the second seed in the upcoming conference postseason tournament as he helped Redlands' backline to a 3-1 win over La Verne, and a 3-0 shutout against Pomona-Pitzer. He anchored a backline that allowed just three total shots on goal during the week. In addition, he added a goal in each game.
