Name: Banks Telkamp
School: Whittier

Hometown: Seattle, Wash.

Banks Telkamp helped lift Whittier to a 3-2 overtime win over Chapman in SCIAC play. After the Poets tied the game up with three minutes left in regulation, Telkamp came out in the first OT period and sent Whittier to the victory as he scored the golden goal in the 99th minute. He received the ball 40 yards out before touching it past two defenders and finishing. He took four shots in the game (three on goal) for a shots-on-goal percentage of 75%.

Ben Pelz helped Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) to a 1-0-1 week that featured a 2-2 (2 OT) draw with Redlands and a 5-0 victory over La Verne in SCIAC play last week. Pelz had an opportune moment for his first collegiate goal, scoring just 1:19 after the Bulldogs had taken a 1-0 lead in the 71st minute to even the score and help the Stags to a 2-2 draw on Wednesday, as CMS remains the lone undefeated team in the league.
