Amelia Ulmer of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges and
Shelby Stanton of Pomona-Pitzer Colleges earned Offensive and Defensive Athlete of the Year honors to headline the 2026 SCIAC Women’s Lacrosse All-Conference teams.
Ulmer led all players with 36 goals and 48 points in 10 conference games. CMS boasted the top-scoring offense thanks in large part to the senior attack, averaging 19.0 goals per game on a clinical .571 shot percentage for a league-best 11.6 margin of victory.
Stanton repeats as Defensive Athlete of the Year after leading the Sagehens to another unbeaten mark in conference play while surrendering just 5.3 goals per game. Marshalling the interior of Pomona-Pitzer’s defense, Stanton shuts down opponents’ fast breaks and directs the third-most efficient clear in the nation.
Newcomer of the Year recognition went to fellow Sagehen
Maihue Miranda Wiltberger. The rookie ranked second in the nation in draw controls with 9.7 per game as a starting two-way midfielder for the regular season champions.
Occidental College’s
Maeve Moylan was honored with the Character Award, given to a senior who best exemplifies success on the field, in the classroom and with involvement in community and school service. After suffering a season-ending injury in the first game of the season, Moylan has embraced a mentor role with the team after setting the program career draw controls record and ranking among all-time leaders in every other statistical field player category. A strong presence in the athletics department, Moylan’s leadership, support for teammates and contribution to team strategy have been invaluable.
Sarah Queener and the Sagehens bench were named Coaching Staff of the Year after leading Pomona-Pitzer to a fifth consecutive regular season title. The Sagehens led the SCIAC in ground balls, caused turnovers and fewest goals allowed while also posting the most efficient clear success rate.
Pomona-Pitzer landed eight All-Conference selections including six on the First Team while CMS garnered seven First Team accolades. The University of Redlands nabbed five total selections with Chapman University landing six, Oxy three and California Lutheran University one. A trio of players –
Grace Minturn (CMS)
, Olivia Okamoto (Oxy) and
Emily Webster (Redlands) – earned fourth career All-Conference honors with Minturn, the 2024 Offensive Athlete of the Year, landing a third First Team nod and Okamoto a second. Another two Athenas,
Cate Lewison and
Julia Ryan, picked up a third career First Team accolade while Ulmer and
River Buechner (Pomona-Pitzer) each repeated on the First Team for a third career honor. Fellow Sagehens
Caili Cross,
Taylor Glanville and
Izzy Sabatino stepped up from the Second Team last season, as did
April Bryant (Redlands) and
Ella Seidel (CMS). Oxy’s
Evie Kim earned a third career All-Conference nod while CLU’s
Josie Oparanaku, Chapman’s
Ada Carr and
Tade Scheid and
Ruby Czajkowski (Redlands) all repeated on the Second Team.
