University of Redlands men's basketball student-athlete Lucas Gordon has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-America Second Team.

Gordon, a three-time Academic All-District selection, receieved the third All-American honor this season after being recognized by both D3hoops.com and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). The senior finished the season averaging 14.3 points per game and nine rebounds per game along with 36 steals and 31 blocks. A Business Administration major, Gordon plans to pursue professional basketball opportunities overseas before starting a construction company.
