Seven SCIAC institutions qualified both men’s and women’s cross country programs for USTFCCCA All-Academic recognition.

The programs recognized were Caltech, California Lutheran University, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges, the University of La Verne, Occidental College, Pomona-Pitzer Colleges and the University of Redlands. The Sagehens tied for third in the nation with a 3.89 women’s team GPA and fifth with a 3.8 men’s team GPA.
 
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers.
