Sagehens Earn First Men’s Swimming & Diving Championship Since 2019

The Pomona-Pitzer Colleges Sagehens secured their first men’s swimming & diving title since 2019, netting 922 points at the 2026 SCIAC Swimming & Diving Championships.
 
Pomona-Pitzer entered the final session with a 115.5-point advantage on defending champions Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges and outpaced the Stags to finish with a final edge of 141.5. Chapman University (575) turned in a third consecutive third-place finish thanks to a 78-point improvement on last year while Caltech took fourth. Whittier College impressively vaulted from eighth place into fifth on 352.5 points, nearly doubling last year’s score. California Lutheran University ranked just 32.5 points behind the Poets in sixth placed, followed by Occidental College (214), the University of Redlands (187) and the University of La Verne (75).
