Brunngraber tossed 5.1 innings hitless innings with No. 19 Pomona-Pitzer Colleges leading 6-0 on Whitworth University before giving up just two hits and a pair of earned runs. The junior struck out six while walking just two in the eventual walk-off victory after the late Pirates rally.
