California Lutheran clinched its way into a second consecutive SCIAC Women's Soccer Tournament Final with a 4-1 win over Chapman on Wednesday, November 4, in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
With less than three minutes remaining before halftime, the Regals scored their first goal of a game after Keira Hazard found the back of the net off of a pass from Amira Walker.
Then, in the 59th minute, Jessica Sprouse cut inside from 10 yards out and beat the keep with a shot in the top right corner. Hazard added another point to her for the night with an assist to Chloe Smith just four minutes later.
An own goal with 21 minutes remaining capped the scoring for the Regals, though the Panthers got on the board in the 85th minute.
The Regals will hope to defend their SCIAC Tournament Title in a 2025 rematch against Pomona-Pitzer on Saturday, November 7, in Thousand Oaks.
