Will Householter of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's basketball team has been named a D3Hoops Preseason Fifth Team All-American just over a week before the season tip's off.

The senior guard is coming off of a First Team All-SCIAC campaign in 2025-26 in which he averaged 18.8 points per game and on over 50% shooting from the field. He also recorded 3.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists per contest. Householter was third in the SCIAC in overall scoring and second in conference-only games. He posted double-digits in all but two games last season and scored as many as 32 in a win over Chapman.

The Stags were picked to finish first in the league in the SCIAC Men's Basketball Preseason Poll after earning an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament the previous season. Householter and CMS went on to win its first game of the tournament, marking their first win on the national stage since 2018.
