CLAREMONT, CA – The Pomona-Pitzer Athletic Hall of Fame will induct 10 individuals on April 30, 2026. This year's inductees include:
- Mark Goodman (PO '87) – Baseball
- Lara Boyd (PO '89) – Women's Basketball
- Nancy North (PO '90) – Women's Swimming & Diving
- Kate Bollinger (PO '01) – Women's Swimming & Diving
- Tim Brown (PO '07) – Men's Water Polo
- Matt Barbour (PO '07) – Football
- Max Scholten (PO '12) – Men's Swimming & Diving
- Jordan Bryant (PO'13) – Women's Soccer
- Annie Lydens (PO '13) – Women's Cross Country and Track & Field
- Erik Munzer (PZ '13) – Men's Soccer & Baseball
The induction ceremony will take place on Thursday, April 30, 2026, in Edmunds Ballroom on the campus of Pomona College with the reception starting at 6:00 PM and the dinner at 6:30 PM. To register for the Hall of Fame Dinner, please visit the

Mark Goodman (PO '87) – Baseball
Mark Goodman graduated from Pomona College in 1987 after spending four years as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Baseball team. During his career as a Sagehen, Goodman helped the Sagehens to 53 total wins while earning All-American honors during his junior season as well as a three-time All-SCIAC selection, All-West Region selection and co-captain during his senior season. Goodman ended his career having led the SCIAC and the West Region in hitting with a .426 batting average and currently sits 9
th on the career list in Batting Average at .381 and 13
th on the Single Season Batting Average list with his .426 season.
Lara Boyd (PO '89) – Women's Basketball
A graduate of Pomona College, Lara Boyd was a cornerstone of a highly successful era for Pomona-Pitzer Women's Basketball. During her career, the Sagehens posted a 70-38 overall record, 31-9 SCIAC mark, captured three SCIAC Championships, and made two NCAA West Regional appearances.
Boyd was a two-time All-SCIAC selection, served as team captain, and was named Team MVP as a senior. She remains etched in the program's record book, ranking eighth in career points (1,119), ninth in rebounds (641), eighth in assists (290), and 10th in blocked shots (68).
Nancy North (PO '90) – Women's Swimming & Diving
Nancy North graduated in 1990 as a member of one of the most successful eras in Pomona-Pitzer Swimming & Diving history. Widely regarded as the program's premier relay swimmer, North was a four-year NCAA qualifier and recorded eight top-eight NCAA relay finishes.
At the SCIAC level, she captured conference titles in the 500 Freestyle and was a two-time champion in the 200 Freestyle, cementing her legacy as one of the most versatile and accomplished swimmers in program history.
Kate Bollinger (PO '01) – Women's Swimming & Diving
Kate Bollinger was a dominant four-year contributor for Pomona-Pitzer Swimming & Diving, graduating in 2001. A six-time All-American, Bollinger also competed in water polo during her collegiate career.
She earned SCIAC championships in both the 400 Individual Medley and 200 Butterfly, setting a school record in the 200 Fly.
Tim Brown (PO '07) – Men's Water Polo
Tim Brown completed one of the most decorated careers in Pomona-Pitzer Men's Water Polo history, graduating in 2007. Brown led the Sagehens to 62 wins, including ninth- and 10th-place finishes in the WWPA. A four-time All-American, four-time First Team All-SCIAC selection, and team captain, Brown finished his career as the program's all-time leading scorer and led the entire NCAA in goals scored during his junior season.
Matt Barbour (PO '07) – Football
Matt Barbour was a defensive stalwart for Pomona-Pitzer Football, graduating in 2007 as one of the most accomplished defenders in program history. A four-time First Team All-SCIAC selection, Barbour was named SCIAC Defensive Player of the Year and Team MVP as a senior.
He finished his career as the program's all-time leader in tackles, was inducted into the National Football Foundation Honor Society, and earned the Pomona-Pitzer Scholar-Athlete Award.
Max Scholten (PO '12) – Men's Swimming & Diving
Max Scholten graduated in 2012 following an elite four-year career as one of the NCAA's top backstrokers. He set seven school records, including three individual events (100 Back, 200 Back, 200 IM) and four relays.
A two-time All-American, SCIAC Swimmer of the Year, and multiple-time SCIAC Champion, Scholten was also named Pomona-Pitzer Male Athlete of the Year in 2012.
Annie Lydens (PO '13) – Women's Cross Country & Track & Field
Annie Lydens arrived at Pomona College after growing up in Japan and attending the American School of Singapore, and went on to become one of the most decorated distance runners in Sagehens history.
A two-time Cross Country All-American, West Regional Champion, three-time All-West selection, and two-time SCIAC Runner of the Year, Lydens also excelled on the track. She earned Track & Field All-America honors, finished as the national runner-up in the 5,000 meters in 2011, and ranks 10th all-time in SCIAC history in the event.
Erik Munzer (PZ '13) – Men's Soccer & Baseball
A graduate of Pitzer College, Erik Munzer was a rare two-sport standout for Pomona-Pitzer, excelling in both baseball and men's soccer.
During his time with the Sagehens, Munzer was a three-time All-West Region selection, a Rawlings Golden Glove selection in 2013, four-time All-SCIAC selection, and a Team Captain in 2013 for baseball. The Sagehens compiled a 112-51 record during his time including a SCIAC Championship in 2010. He currently sits 6
th in Career Hits at 251, 6
th in Career Doubles with 59, tied for 6
th in Single Season hits with 74, and 21
st in Single Season Batting Average at .415.
For Soccer, Munzer ended his career with a 44-29-3 overall record and 40-15-3 in SCIAC play including two SCIAC Championships in 2009 and 2012. He was named First Team All-West in 2012 and First Team All-SCIAC in 2011 and 2012 as well as Team Captain his junior and senior years.
Jordan Bryant (PO '13) – Women's Soccer
A Pomona native,
Jordan Bryant graduated in 2013 after a transformative four-year career with Pomona-Pitzer Women's Soccer. A four-year starter at center back, Bryant earned three All-West Region selections, three First Team All-SCIAC honors, and served as team captain as a senior.
Following her playing career, Bryant returned to the program as an assistant coach, continuing her impact on the Sagehens' rise as a national Division III power.
