Del Villar has been one of the key players for a CMS women’s water polo team that has reached the national championship three years in a row, earning second-team All-America honors last season. She has scored 152 goals in three seasons, including 54 in each of the last two campaigns, giving her a strong chance to reach the rare 200-goal milestone as a senior. She had five goals in a SCIAC Semifinal win over Chapman last year and four goals in the 2024 national championship match as a sophomore.
A public policy major at Claremont McKenna, she earned a Harold W. Rood Fellowship at the Keck Center for International and Strategic Studies this summer, when she was selected as one of eight students to participate in a competitive fellowship on U.S. national security strategy. She also studied abroad in Spain in 2024 on the Council on International Educational Exchange, studying international culture and business.
