Pomona-Pitzer Colleges and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges enter the 2025 season ranked among the Top 12 teams in Division III per the preseason USTFCCCA Coaches Poll.

The seven-time regional champion Sagehens, ranked No. 5 in the country, are fueled by the conference’s past three Newcomers of the Year in Peter Neid, Jack Stein and Jefferson Wright, along with Top-26 underclassmen Tiernan Colby and Nate Wehner. Pomona-Pitzer placed third at last year's NCAA Championship after winning the national title in three of the previous four seasons dating back to 2019.
The Stags open the season at No. 12 thanks in large part to last year's rookie duo of Jerry Xu and Jonas Rickert, both of whom made the All-SCIAC Second Team. Another five CMS runners placed among the Top 32 at last year's championship race, showcasing the Stags' enviable depth that is expected to continue.
Caltech also appeared in the regional rankings, debuting at No. 9 to open the season after the Beavers' own first-year tandem of Stephen Gehringer and Jack Sullivan placed 24th and 33rd last fall.
