NCAA Championship: Stags, Bulldogs Weather Tough Round One Conditions

Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges and the University of Redlands weathered tough conditions for the first round of the NCAA Men's Golf Championship.

Both teams got onto the course among the first quarter of the competition field. Redlands' position steadily improved throughout the day to end in a tie for 23rd place at +19. CMS wrapped up in a tie for 36th at +28.

Each team will look to make the 15-team cut after tomorrow's round.
