The No. 4 Pomona-Pitzer Colleges Sagehens swept East Texas Baptist University to advance to the Regional final of the NCAA Women’s Tennis Tournament on their home courts.

The hosts picked up wins at doubles courts #1 and #2 to take a 1-0 lead into singles, where Marissa Markey won at #2 while Meha Chadhary and Annique Varty stepped into the lineup to secure wins at #5 and #6, respectively.
 
The Sagehens will host No. 12 Trinity (Texas) University on Sunday, May 11 at 10 a.m. with a spot in the national quarterfinals, hosted across the street at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges, on the line.
