Athenas Take Bronze, Marsyla Seventh at NCAA Women's Cross Country Championship

Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges rode a blistering late kick to make it onto the podium in third place, with Elle Marsyla finish in seventh individually at the NCAA Women's Cross Country Championship. 

Results

Marsyla ran just within the top 30 for the first 4k of the race before blazing into the Top 10 while teammate Riley Capuano moved up from 39th to finish 21st. Sadie Drucker placed 35th followed by Sara Wexler in 44th and Hope Dragseth in 57th. Pomona-Pitzer Colleges placed 14th led by Joya Terdiman in 67th. Chapman University's Brenda Daza crossed the line in 103rd and Jenna LeNay was close behind in 118th for Occidental College.
