Sangster dropped 28 points in a Division III debut and added 18 the next day as No. 6 University of Redlands picked up two wins in Santa Cruz over the host Banana Slugs and Pacific Lutheran University. The DI junior transfer shot 54 percent from the field, including a 7-for-9 mark from long range, while grabbing 13 rebounds, dishing out two assists and nabbing a steal.

Jones was superb on both ends of the court for RV Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges over a pair of road wins in the Pacific Northwest. The Stags held Pacific (Ore.) University and George Fox University to an average of 63.0 points per game, with Jones recording a 10-steal double-double against the Bruins and averaging 27.0 points, 6.5 steals, 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per contest.
