Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges safety Jacob O'Connell has been named D3football.com Second Team Preseason All-America.

O'Connell earned First Team All-Region honors last season. He tallied 40 tackles and snagged five interceptions, two of which he ran back for touchdowns. Over his career, he has recorded 12 interceptions and 11 pass break-ups with 77 tackles.
