Look out for Jack Cartwright. The Chapman football alum is now a rising star in the wrestling world.

Cartwright was a four-year member of the Chapman football program from 2019-22. The Panthers’ fullback spent most of his snaps clearing the way for his fellow running back but did accumulate nine carries for 50 yards and caught one pass for 14 yards in his career.

On Senior Day, Cartwright scored his only career touchdown, thrilling the crowd with a celebratory backflip. His acrobatic celebration in the end zone was just a preview of Cartwright’s other life. Even while in college, Cartwright was already cultivating the career of Jack Cartwheel (now “Cartwheel” Jack Summit) – an accomplished and on-the-rise wrestler.

“Cartwheel” Jack Summit was recently recognized as a WWE ID prospect, picking the former college football player to an elite program aimed at “providing up and coming independent wrestlers a pathway to a potential career in WWE.”

Summit is just one of a handful of wrestlers to be picked into the WWE ID program. He was picked from Game Changer Wrestling and made WWE ID announcement to the delight of thousands of followers on social media.

What’s next for the Chapman football alum? He will continue to compete and now train with the best as he continues to pursue his dream.
