Pomona-Pitzer Colleges women's soccer goalkeeper Patricia DePalma has been named Academic All-America by the College Sports Communicators.

DePalma was named to the Academic All-America Third Team. She and the Sagehens reached the NCAA Championship Regional final for a second consecutive season. The Pomona-Pitzer defense allowed five goals this season and averaged 0.29 goals against per contest. DePalma was tabbed as the SCIAC's top goalkeeper with 11 shutouts, 41 saves and a 0.891 save percentage.
