Mountanos led Pomona-Pitzer Colleges with 20 kills on a .386 hitting percentage in a 3-2 upset of No. 12 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges to conclude the regular season. The 2023 First Team All-SCIAC selection also had 12 kills at the University of Redlands three days prior, totaling eight digs and a block between the two matches.

Name: Zacky Coaston
School: La Verne
Year: Sophomore
Position: Middle Blocker
Hometown/High School: Fontana, Calif. / Etiwanda
Coaston totaled 23.0 blocks in a trio of sweeps for No. 15 University of La Verne to secure the #2 seed in the SCIAC Tournament. A massive 15-block performance allowed the Leopards to fend off upset-minded Whittier College in the regular season finale. Coaston added 14 kills on a .343 hitting percentage across the three victories.
