Offensive Athlete of the Week
Name: Janette Barajas
School: University of Redlands
Year: Sr.
Position: Midfielder
Hometown/High School: San Jose, Calif. / Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit

Barajas netted a hat trick and scored the go-ahead goal in two road victories for the undefeated University of Redlands, 2-1 over Chapman University and 3-2 against Vanguard University. He converted a penalty kick in the 36th minute to put the reigning conference champion Panthers on the back foot before notching all three tallies in a 20-minute span to rally from a 2-0 deficit against the Lions.

Defensive Athlete of the Week
Name: Riley Nyhan
School: Occidental
Year: Jr.
Position: Goalkeeper
Hometown/High School: Seattle, Wash. / The Bush School

Nyhan made seven saves on eight shots faced, including a shutout against Caltech and a 2-1 victory at Whittier College. He made a key save in the 87th minute just prior to Occidental College finding the game-winner six seconds before time expired.
