Your experience being a student-athlete at the University of La Verne:
As a student-athlete you feel valued by everyone on campus and supported by your peers. I love the small class sizes because as a student-athlete you may get caught up with practices, games, work schedules, and class deadlines so it's great to be able to communicate with professors easily and stay on track in class. I also appreciate the supportive environment where every sport supports each other and professors wish you luck always!
What it means to be playing on the women's team at the University of La Verne and also what it's like playing for Coach Pruitt?
It's truly an honor to be playing for the women's team at the University of La Verne, I couldn't have asked for a better team. My teammates are so amazing and supportive, we are literally a family who can always make a good time out of any situation and will fight for one another under any circumstances. I'm very lucky to have a coach like Coach Pruitt who pushes me every day and really believes in me and what I bring to this team. To be playing for a coach that continuously motivates you and never gives up on you is rare in college basketball and I'm grateful that my coach is one of the few that do. Even in the most serious moments he will find light of the situation to bring a smile or a laugh to our faces. Coach Pruitt is a winner not just in basketball but in all aspects of life and he instills that winning mentality in everyone around him, and though it may be tough love at times I wouldn't want any other coach to finish my basketball career with.
