Caltech's Malik Paulino has shown out in the sprint events during his collegiate career at Caltech. Captaining the track & field team in his final season as a Beaver, he looks to top his personal bests and lead the team to a successful season. The Texas native is coming off his best performances in 2022, clocking times of 23.91 seconds in the 200-meter dash, 11.89 in the 100m, and 55.12 in the 400m.
In addition to athletics, Paulino has impressed many through both his academic accomplishments and his extracurriculars. The senior has been a member of two chemistry labs over the past year, was Vice President of the Caltech QuestBridge chapter, was a member of the Dabney House Student Executive Committee, and has played bass for the Caltech Orchestra.
He is a National AP Scholar, a University Interscholastic League Scholar, and has earned a Level of Distinction from the National Speech and Debate Association.
