Devon Lewis has been instrumental in Cal Lutheran men's basketball rising back to prominence in the conference. He helped the Kingsmen capture their first SCIAC Tournament Championship in 2023 and was the Most Outstanding Player. He scored a career-high 29 points, on 10-15 shooting, in the championship game. For the 2022-23 season, he averaged 13.4 points per game, 3.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.9 steals. He was named Second Team All-SCIAC. He has been a Scholar-Athlete for the past two years and has made the Dean's List three times.
Lewis' future plans are to possibly go to grad school and play another year of basketball. His career path includes being a financial advisor for smaller financial companies and working his way up the ladder into bigger companies as well as getting to the College Football Playoff one day. Wealth management for larger companies is also an interest and he wants to work in sales. Lastly, he has an entrepreneurial spirit so you shouldn't be surprised if he opens up his own company or agency. He also has his own clothing brand that he wants to scale and work on heavily post-graduation.
