THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — For 11-plus years, Kellee Roesel has been at the helm of the Cal Lutheran women's volleyball program, where she has guided her teams to a plethora of success. On Saturday, Sept. 30, the Moorpark, Calif. native another milestone to her resume when a 3-0 victory over Caltech marked her 300th career win.
Roesel has been the driving force behind more than a decade of success on the court. During that time she has not only experienced team success, but has helped countless student-athletes to individual recognition as well.
Among her accomplishments are the 2015 NCAA Division III National title, 10 NCAA postseason appearances, eight Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Postseason Tournament appearances with five titles and automatic berths into the NCAA tournament, seven SCIAC championships and four NCAA Division III Regional crowns. Additionally, she has produced countless All-America honorees, All-West Region selections, All-SCIAC recipients and teams that have earned academic honors.
Through it all, Roesel has been assisted by Kevin Judd, the current head men's volleyball coach at CLU. The pair has been coaching side-by-side for much longer than they have donned Violet and Gold and together they have built a dynasty for the Regals.
