SCIAC Honors Female Athlete of the Week:  CMS' Breanne Diaz

Congratulations to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps' Breanne Diaz for being named the SCIAC Female Athlete of the Week!

The senior from King City won two individual events and was on both winning relays to lead the Athenas to a 7-0 record at the SCIAC Multi-Duals.  She won the 100 hurdles in 15.39 and the 400 hurdles in 64.72.  Both times are season bests and SCIAC leading marks.  She ran third on both the 4 x 100 and 4 x 400 relays.  The 4 x 1 ran 48.56, won by over a second and a half and qualified for NCAA's.  The 4 x 4 ran 3:56.84, the fastest time by a SCIAC team in five years.  She also placed third in the 100 with a season best of 12.76.
