SCIAC Honors Female Athlete of the
Week: CMS' Lisal Smith

Congratulations to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps' Lisal Smith for being
named the SCIAC Female Athlete of the Week!
CMS: Lisal Smith, Swimming
The senior from Davis concluded her career with five Honorable
Mention All-American honors at the NCAA Division III
Championships. She won the consolation finals (ninth overall)
in the 400 individual medley with a time of 4:31.51 (she is the
only SCIAC swimmer to have swum faster). She finished 13th in the
200 individual medley with a time of 2:08.85. She led off the
200 medley and 400 medley relays which finished 12th and 13th
respectively. She also swam on the 200 free relay team which
finished 12th. She contributed 20 points towards the Athenas'
total of 69. CMS tied for 14th at the Championships.
