Redlands' Soboti Captures 100th Career Win As Women's Soccer Head Coach
October 11, 2006

University of Redlands Head Women's Soccer Coach Suzette Soboti captured her 100th career win on Wednesday, when the Bulldogs earned an exciting 2-1 victory over conference-rival Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges. She now boasts a career record of 100-51-9 in women's soccer at the NCAA level.

Following a four-year stint at Middlesex County College in New Jersey, Soboti took over the women's soccer and lacrosse programs at the University of Redlands in 1998. She led the women's soccer team to Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Championships in 2001 and 2004, advancing onto the NCAA Championships both years. In 2004, Redlands women's soccer earned the program's first postseason victory with a 2-1 triumph over Chapman University.

Currently, the Bulldogs (7-3-1, 6-0-1 SCIAC) sit in first place in the conference as the only team without a loss. The team travels to Occidental College on Saturday for an 11 a.m. match-up with the Tigers.
