Brianne Brown had a career night as the Tigers upset the previously
undefeated Leopards from La Verne with a 69-64 come-from-behind win
on Saturday night. Brown scored 33 points (29 in the second half)
and pulled down 18 rebounds for Oxy. She also accumulated a
game-high five assists adding two steals and a block. Brown shot
13-for-21 from the field, going 2-for-3 from long range. Earlier in
the week Brown scored 18 points on 5-for-6 shooting from the field,
hitting her only three point attempt, with four assists a block and
a steal against the Poets. Overall this Brown put up a 66.7 field
goal percentage, 75 #FG% and a 70.6 free-throw percentage
(12-for-17) in 25.5 minutes per game.
