SCIAC Honors Female Athlete of the Week:
La Verne's Jodi Lindsay

ULV: Jodi Lindsay, Senior, Volleyball
A senior opposite from Alta Loma, Lindsay helped lead La
Verne to a 4-0 week as the #9 Leopards swept CMS, Cal Lutheran,
Occidental and Pomona-Pitzer to remain unbeaten in league play at
9-0. Lindsay hit .351 and averaged 4.2 kills a game on the week
while also contributing .81 blocks per game. She hit .401 vs.
CMS, .267 vs. Cal Lutheran, and finished the week with 12 kills
hitting .346 against Pomona-Pitzer. Against the Regals she tallied
13 kills in ULV's 30-21, 30-28, 30-27 triumph on Oct. 5.
Lindsay currently tops the SCIAC in hitting percentage at
.312 and ranks fifth in kills per game at 3.15.
