NCAA Division III Cross Country Preseason Regional Rankings Announced

The Division III Cross Country preseason regional polls were announced today by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.   In the Men's West Region, three SCIAC institutions were ranked in the Top 10.  Last year's SCIAC Men's Champion, the Occidental College Tigers are the number three ranked team.  The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Stags are ranked as the number five team followed by number nine Pomona-Pitzer Colleges.

On the women's side, last year's SCIAC Co-Champion CMS Athenas were ranked as the number seven team in the West Region.  Occidental College is ranked in the number eight team spot followed by 2006 SCIAC Co-Champion Redlands in the number ten spot.
