Week: CMS' Ben Hough

The senior from Spokane, WA went 4-0 in his singles and doubles
matches to help the Stags advance to the quarterfinals of the NCAA
Championships. In the #2 ranked Stags' 5-1 win over #20
Whitman College, Hough partnered with Eric MacColl at #2 doubles to
win 8-6 and then won 6-3, 6-4 at #6 singles to put the team up
4-1. In the Stags' 5-3 win over #1 UC Santa Cruz, he again
partnered with MacColl for an 8-1 win over the reigning Ojai
Tournament doubles champions and then put the team up 3-1 with his
6-4, 6-1 win at #6. The captain of the Stags is 13-8 overall
in singles and 26-10 in doubles. CMS is 25-7 overall.
