SCIAC Honors Male Athlete of the Week:  :  Occidental's Joe Sasich

Joe Sasich shot 70% from the field (14-for-20) as he led the Tigers to a 2-0 week on the court. He averaged 16.5 points per game and 8.0 rebounds per game and added six assists, four steals and a block. Against Caltech Sasich scored 14 points on 8-for-12 shooting with six boards, four assist and four steals. On Saturday he recorded a double-double, scoring a season high 17 points with 10 rebounds. Sasich was 6-for-8 from the field and grabbed five offensive rebounds. The senior has started the last three games for the Tigers, recording double figures in scoring in all of those contests.
