Bulldog Football Heads to Palm Desert for Saturday's Game

Due to the current fire situation and uncertainty of the air quality, the University of Redlands football game against the University of La Verne has been moved to Palm Desert High School.  Saturday's kick-off has been changed to 2 p.m.

The Bulldogs will remain as the hosts of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) game against the Leopards.  Admission to the game will be free for all fans but concessions will not be available.

Palm Desert HS is located at 43570 Phyllis Jackson Lane in Palm Desert.  From Redlands, take the 10 East and exit Cook Street, go south approximately five miles.  Turn right on Fred Waring Drive and then turn right on Phyllis Jackson Lane to enter the parking lot for the stadium.

The game will be broadcasted as planned via KMET 1490 AM radio and Stretch Internet.

The University of Redlands Homecoming/Centennial Grand Finale festivities will continue on campus as planned.  The crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen will take place at the Centennial Ball on Friday night.  For a complete list of Centennial Grand Finale activities, please log onto www.redlands.edu/centennialcelebration.

In addition, Friday's swimming & diving meet against Fresno Pacific University has been cancelled.  As of today, the rest of this weekend's athletic events will remain on schedule.
