Dr. Loreto Jackson, Director of
Student-Athlete
Performance at Clemson, Visits the SCIAC

The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference welcomes Dr. Loreto Jackson as part of a Performance Nutrition Initiative. Dr. Jackson currently serves as the Director of Student-Athlete Performance at Clemson University - a new program created to optimize the performance and Clemson experience for student-athletes.
Beginning at the University of Redlands on April 17 and concluding at Caltech on April 25, Dr. Jackson will present on the importance of nutrition in academic and athletic performance. She will spend the next 10 days visiting each of the SCIAC campuses and presenting to student-athletes, coaches and the general campus communities. This opportunity was made available through NCAA Grant Funding to support student-athlete well being.
In addition to her role at Clemson, Dr. Jackson
runs a private practice consulting with state, national, Olympic
and professional athletes and NCAA institutions on performance
nutrition. She is currently working on a performance
nutrition book for parents and coaches of young athletes. For
